Small-batch ceramics · Hudson Valley

Made by hand.
Meant for mornings.

Kiln and Co is a small-batch ceramics studio opening this fall. Stoneware mugs, bowls, and vases — thrown, glazed, and fired one shelf at a time in our Hudson Valley studio.

A small line of objects,
made slowly.

Every piece is wheel-thrown by hand, glazed in our own recipes, and fired in a single gas kiln. No two are identical. The first collection is sixty mugs, thirty bowls, and a dozen bud vases — and then we start again.

One kiln. One pair of hands.
One shelf at a time.

Kiln and Co is run by potter Mara Ellis out of a converted barn in Hudson, New York. Pieces are made to be used daily — dishwasher-safe stoneware that gets better with coffee rings, soup splashes, and time.
